Distance Learning Systems prepares clients to challenge and pass college proficiency examinations. When an exam is passed, your passing score may be transferred into the college of your choice where you will receive full credit toward your degree for the course you tested out of.

Distance Learning Systems provides study material along with recorded lectures online to help clients pass college level subject examinations. These exams can replace over 40 college classes and will yield the same credit that you would receive by attending classes twice a week for up to 17 weeks in a traditional classroom environment.

It is important to understand the role of Distance Learning Systems. The exams you challenge for college credit are written and scored by national organizations such as The College Board (sponsor AP and SAT). These exams, CLEP, & DSST or ECE (College Level Examination Program), are accepted by 2,900 colleges and universities nationwide and are administered in over 1,800 test centers. Distance Learning Systems prepares you to challenge and pass these examinations.

Distance Learning Systems provides the most unique learning environment in the test preparation industry. You will view real class recordings that are available 24/7. You will also have an instructor who will be available to answer any questions about the material you have as you prepare to challenge your exam for credit, so you will not miss any valuable information you will need to pass each and every subject.

Live technical support is available by chat or phone Monday-Friday from 8am to Midnight and on Saturday from 9am to 4pm (EST).  If you need technical support during the hours where live support is unavailable, please email academics@dlsii.com.

As an online client, you will not need a textbook as all the information you need is included in the online classroom. This also saves you the money you would typically spend for expensive text books.

Our national pass rate is over 97%!  You will receive all the information you will need to pass every course. These courses are written by subject matter experts, many of whom teach the same subject in a traditional classroom environment and all are master or PhD educated. If you would fail an exam after completing a Distance Learning Systems class, you will be permitted to retake the class once free of charge.

This process is typically referred to as “testing-out” of a class. Your college makes the final determination as to how many classes you may test-out of; however, most colleges and universities will accept up to 30 semester hours of credit via “credit-by-exam.” This allotment will cover most, if not all of your general education requirement.

No, we are not accredited. We are not a school. Your college or university you will be earning your degree from will hold accreditation. We are a test prep organization that prepares you to earn college credit through passing CLEP, DSST and ECE exams, which are approved by the American Council on Education (ACE). The accredited institution is the University or College you have chosen (will choose) to earn your degree from.
